Class Teacher :
Hello, my name is Miss Delaney, and I am the Year 5 teacher here at Thornley Primary School. I have been a teacher for seventeen years, and I have taught at Thornley Primary for nine. I taught the youngest children for a long time, but I have loved the change to teaching at the other end of the age range. My favourite subjects to teach are Science and History, as I am passionate about using investigation skills, and getting my hands dirty! I think that learning new skills through experiences and memories creates a lifelong passion for learning.
