Hi, I’m Miss Thompson and I am the class teacher in Birch class. Outside of school I enjoy watching sunsets and going on walks along the beach. My favourite subjects to teach are art and maths; I enjoy teaching art as it allows the children to be creative, encourages self-expression and builds a child’s self-confidence as well as sense of individuality. Before completing my teaching degree, I taught in rural areas of Nepal for three months which opened the doorway of my want to become a teacher.
