What a fantastic day we’ve had today for World Book Day! All the children looked fantastic in their costumes! A big thank you for all the donations received we 
managed to make an amazing amount of £246.45. This will go towards new books for the school. It was lovely to see so many parents come along and show their support this morning!
In the afternoon, pupils decorated their classroom doors as famous book covers…we now have everything from Alice in Wonderland, to Mr Men and Gullivers Travels adorning our doors. Parents and carers are more than welcome to come and see them! I hope to get some pictures of World book day and the classroom doors up soon.
We have another busy week coming up as it is comic relief on Friday where the theme will be ‘Look funny for money.’ A letter will be sent out on Monday giving parents and carers some details.
